Full agreement to the terms of the Regulations is a preliminary condition for receiving the right to use the Sports Center facilities.
It is hereby presumed that any person using the Sports Center and its facilities has read and understood the Regulations in full as they appear on the website and undertakes and vows to act accordingly.
1. The Objective
The objective of the Regulations is to ensure that the Tel Aviv University Elite Sports Center (hereinafter: “The Sports Center”) shall be managed at the highest level, to the satisfaction of the subscribers and/or its guests. The provisions in the Regulations are intended to ensure proper rules of behavior for the benefit of the center’s subscribers and/or guests as well as to protect the Sports Center’s visitors, subscribers, employees, and facilities.
It has been brought to the attention of the subscribers and/or the guests that the Sports Center holds from time to time, and during the summer months, in particular, a variety of sports and leisure activities. The Sports Center and its facilities serve as a venue for various external sporting and day camp activities and events.
2. Purchasing a subscription and the types of subscriptions.
2.1. There are two possible subscription acquisition tracks: (a) a seasonal subscription (b) a monthly subscription (“Alternate Track”) The management reserves the right to modify the track types at any time and its sole discretion.
2.2. Registration to the Sports Center requires a one-time registration fee payment that shall be paid by the subscriber at the rate charged at the expressed period. The Sports Center reserves the right to change the registration fee rate from time to time. The registration fee rate is detailed a priori and in writing on the registration form.
2.3. The subscription shall be valid from its date of issue until the date cited on the receipt.
2.4. A subscription shall be issued pursuant to the eligibility of each person per the terms of registration and presentation of suitable documentation, according to the registrant’s identity and his/her current photograph. The Sports Center reserves the right to refuse non-current photographs.
2.5. Entry to the area of the Sports Center shall be permitted only after the presentation of a valid identity tag (“Chip”). A personal identity tag issued to subscribers for passage through the center’s entry gate is personal and non-transferable. Transfer of the tag to another person shall be cause for the immediate cessation of Sports Center membership, without any reimbursement. The Sports Center reserves the right to change the identity system from time to time.
2.6. In the case of a lost or stolen identity tag, a new identity tag shall be issued against payment of a NIS 25 handling fee.
2.7. By purchasing a subscription, the subscriber hereby agrees to receive from the Sports Center utilizing electronic mail and mobile telephone various advertisements including sales, benefits and special events conducted at the Sports Center for its subscribers. A subscriber requesting to cancel this agreement is entitled to do so at any time by providing written notification by electronic mail to the Sports Center by contacting service@tausc.co.il as well as by responding to the advertisements sent to him periodically.
2.8. This subscription is personal, nontransferable and only valid to the person who purchased it.
2.9. Replacement of the payment method on the subscription fee entails a handling charge of NIS 30 for a credit card and a handling fee of NIS 15 per check for the handling of the replaced payment method.
2.10. If a subscriber avoids making regular subscription payments, said subscriber shall be banned from entry to the Sports Center and prohibited from any use whatsoever of the Sports Center and its facilities until all financial obligations are settled.
2.11. The Sport’s Center reserves the right to modify or change benefits from time to time, under its sole discretion.
3. Canceling a subscription
3.1. A subscription may be canceled as long as the request for the subscription’s cancellation is done solely in writing utilizing electronic mail to service@tausc.co.il. To dispel any doubt, the cancelation shall not be valid until such time that said written notification had been received. The subscriber is required to verify the reception of said notification.
3.2. A subscription may be cancelled in either one of the two acquisition tracks within 14 days of the date of purchase or reception of the registration form, the later of the two, and against payment of a cancellation fee of 5% of the value of said service or NIS 100, the lesser of the two, in addition to payment for the subscription period that passed until the date of cancellation of said subscription. After the 14 days from the date of purchase or reception of the registration form, the mechanism herein shall apply: Any written notification of cancellation that shall be received (under the aforementioned in Clause 3.1 above) from the 15th day or later shall become valid upon conclusion of one month from its delivery date.
3.3. Cancellation of a new subscription – the transaction’s cancellation shall become valid upon the conclusion of one month from its delivery date. Upon validation of said cancellation, a relative amount of the said subscription shall be charged (i.e., the subscription fee for the same month) in lieu of a cancellation fee.
3.4. Canceling a seasonal subscription-
3.4.1. The transaction’s cancellation shall become valid upon the conclusion of one month from its delivery date.
3.4.2. For the said month, a relative subscription fee shall be charged (i.e., the subscription fee for the same month).
3.4.3. In addition to that mentioned above, a cancellation fee shall be charged to the subscriber, that shall be according to the lower of the following possibilities:
A. A cancellation fee at a rate multiplied by the number of months starting from the date of the transaction until the date of the cancellation’s validation (one month from written notification) by the monthly transaction price and the monthly price of the alternate track. Cancelation fee for the Alternate subscription will be calculated according to the full subscription cost, including child’s subscriptions cost.
B. The cancellation fee shall not be greater than the lesser between the following calculated amounts: (1) a cancellation fee of 25% of the total consideration if the cancellation is done within the first trimester of the subscription period; a cancellation fee of 20% of the total consideration if the cancellation is done within the second trimester of the subscription period; a cancellation fee of 17% of the total consideration if the cancellation is done within the third trimester of the subscription period. (2) The amount that the subscriber would have paid if it were not for the cancellation for the remainder of the allocated period (the period of the subscription) from the date of validation of the cancellation until the conclusion of the transaction period. Under no circumstances shall a reimbursement be issued for the loss or cancellation of a punch card or an expired punch card that was not renewed following its expiration.
3.5 A reimbursement shall not be issued for the period of a frozen subscription.
3.6 For the avoidance of doubt, any request(s) for cancellation submitted retroactively, will not be accepted or discussed.
3.7 In the event of a conflict between the provisions of Section 3 above and the provisions of the Consumer Protection Law and/or Regulations, the terms of the law and regulations will prevail.
4. Freezing a subscription
4.1. The freeze is a benefit given by the company for a period of 12 months or more subscription. In any subscription period, a subscription may be frozen for up to 30 accumulated days, solely by written notice under the following circumstances:
4.1.1. A freeze because of a medical condition preventing physical activity for 14 days or more, subject to the presentation of suitable medical approval testifying to the subscriber’s inability to train for the period mentioned above.
4.1.2. A freeze because of the subscriber’s active reserve duty, subject to presentation of documentation pertinent to the aforementioned reserve military service.
4.1.3. A freeze because of the subscriber’s travel abroad for 14 days or more, subject to the presentation of a two-way flight ticket.
4.2. All of the compatible approvals must be submitted in advance of the period of the requested freeze. Freeze requests submitted retroactively following the requested period shall not be honored.
4.3. Also, the subscription may be frozen for any reason whatsoever, for a non-accumulative period of 14 days, by paid, advanced written notice. The cost of a two-week subscription freeze is NIS 60.
4.4. Requests for a subscription freeze that meet the criteria shall be submitted in writing with copies of the relevant documentation attached to the Customer Service Department utilizing electronic mail to service@tausc.co.il.
4.5. Customers on an alternate/monthly track will be ineligible to receive the subscription freeze benefit.
4.6. Any unused suspension days will be cancelled at the end of the subscription period and can not be accumulated.
4.7. A subscription cannot be suspended during the last month of the subscription.
5. Tickets & Punch Cards
5.1. The Sports Center has sole authority concerning the decision to sell tickets and punch cards to the general public. It shall stipulate public entry according to days and hours and specific facilities at its sole and exclusive discretion.
5.2. The punch card is valid for no more than two years from the date of purchase. Under no circumstances shall a reimbursement be issued for the loss or cancellation of a punch card or an expired punch card that was not renewed following its expiration.
5.3. Entry utilizing a ticket/punch card is solely to the pool and spa. It does not include entrance for parking, the fitness room, classes, events, and auditoriums in the Sports Center.
5.4.Single entry ticket purchasers are subject to the expressed rules and instructions were given concerning each activity/facility in which they are permitted to participate, and to the provisions of the Sports Center regulations, and the practiced rules of behavior therein. If their behavior exceeds the regulations, procedures, disrupts the public order, and violates staff instructions, a staff member is authorized to cease their activity and remove them from the Sports Center’s premises, all without refund.
6. General Information and Rules of Behavior
6.1. The hours of operation (opening and closing) of the Sports Center and its facilities shall be per the various advertisements published on bulletin boards and the Sports Center’s website. The Sports Center management is entitled to alter the times of opening and closing (“Hours of Operation”) of the Sports Center and its facilities, as long as these changes are publicized to the subscribers in advance, through the use of bulletin boards or other advertising media.
6.2. The Sports Center management reserves the right to close the Sports Center in its entirety or parts thereof or its facilities, for groups, special events, parties or national or international sporting events at its sole, exclusive discretion, without any financial or other compensation. Furthermore, the Sports Center management is entitled to close any facility for purposes of renovation or repair upon prior notice.
6.3. Entry by children ages ten and under shall be conditional upon an adult escort (age 16 and older). Children without escort shall not be admitted.
6.4. Parents and/or escorts are responsible for the behavior and actions of their children and/or escorted children throughout their entire time at the Sports Center. Any disruption or disorder by the children is liable to lead to their temporary or permanent expulsion.
6.5. The subscriber is solely responsible for all personal belongings. The Sports Center bears no responsibility for any loss or theft of belongings and valuables in and anywhere throughout the area of the Sports Center. The unsupervised property shall be transferred to the Lost and Found Room and kept for no more than one month. If at the passing of this period, the property above remains unclaimed, the Sports Center shall be entitled to convey and/or dispose and/or destroy said unclaimed property as it shall see fit.
6.6. The subscriber undertakes to obey and comply with the provisions, rules, and regulations as mandated by law or issued periodically by the Sports Center management through written publications, on Sports Center bulletin boards, and/or circulars to the Sports Center membership.
6.7 The subscriber undertakes to obey and comply with the instructors’ instructions in the fitness room and the various activities as well as the instructions and directives of the Sports Center managers, his staff, and the instructions of signs posted throughout the center. The Sports Center staff is entitled to add instructions as required.
6.8 Any activity conducted in contravention to staff guidelines is forbidden – and the trainee shall bear responsibility for its results.
6.9. Identification by an ID tag before a Sports Center staff member (at first demand) is compulsory. A Sports Center or Sports Club employee is entitled to confiscate an ID tag and transfer said tag to be dealt with by the management.
6.10. The subscriber shall maintain all Sports Center property, its equipment and facilities, as well as the plant life in and on the property, and shall refrain from causing any damages to said property and maintain cleanliness in and around all Sports Center areas. Any subscriber who is responsible for damage(s) to Sports Center property, whether through malice or through negligence, shall be charged payment for the damage(s) caused, without prejudice to any other right held by the Sports Center in the said case, pursuant to all bylaws, regulations and/or by law.
6.11. The subscriber undertakes to be polite, respectful and courteous during his/her presence at the Sports Center, in a manner that shall in no way interfere, harm, offend and/or be a nuisance to others and shall not in any way impair the proper management of the Sports Center.
6.12. Entry to the sports facilities and their use shall be executes solely and exclusively in suitable sports attire and in accordance with the requirements of the instructor or responsible staff.
6.13. It is prohibited to bring into the Sports Center any foodstuffs (except for fruit and sandwiches), liquor, coolers, nuts, glass containers (including bottles), hookahs, barbeque grills, card games (luck and/or gambling), animals, gas tanks, weapons and devices for playing music (except through headphones).
6.14. Smoking anywhere in the area of the Sports Center, including open spaces, is strictly prohibited.
6.15. Entry into the area of the Sports Center’s offices in a bathing suit, exposed torso or barefoot is strictly prohibited.
6.16. CCTV is installed throughout the Sports Center to ensure public order, security and safety.
6.17. The Sports Center has sole authority concerning the decision to sell tickets and punch cards to the general public and shall condition public entry according to days and hours and specific facilities at its sole and exclusive discretion.
6.18. Single entry ticket purchasers are subject to the expressed rules and instructions given concerning each activity/facility in which they are permitted to participate. If their behavior exceeds the regulations, procedures, disrupts the public order and violates staff instructions, a staff members is authorized to cease their activity and remove them from the Sports Center’s premises, all without refund.
6.19. The Sports Center draws the subscribers attention to the risks and dangers posed in sporting activities under certain conditions. The Sports Center recommends to all its members to undergo a physical examination prior to the start of any sports activities and attain a physician’s opinion concerning the physical activity in that area of sports in which they are interested in engaging and refrain from any sporting activity prior to undergoing the aforementioned check-up.
6.20. The use of the facilities, halls, activity rooms is permitted solely and exclusively under the supervision of the responsible teacher and/or instructor and in accordance with the procedures and regulations of these facilities. The use of facilities shall be done with caution, while under the responsibility and self-criticism of the subscriber. The subscriber shall bear sole responsibility for his use of the Sports Center facilities and participation in any of its activities. The Sports Center shall not bear any responsibility for any accident, injury and/or damage caused to the user or his belongings.
6.21. A variety of physical education and sports classes, training sessions, games and events are conducted in the Sports Center’s facilities as well as sports clubs for student groups, faculty and staff and others including university teams and teams from the university’s Sports Club. Scheduling of all training sessions, team practices, games and events are given to the exclusive authority of the Sports Center in coordination with the Tel Aviv University Sports Department and Sports Club.
6.22. The cafeteria, vending shops, and other services provided by franchisees on the grounds of the Sports Center are provided solely by them and under their responsibility and the Sports Center is in no way responsible for them.
6.23. The Sports Center staff is entitled to remove from its facilities any subscriber(s) whose behavior is inappropriate, violent, disruptive, annoying or who in their opinion endangers the safety and serenity of the Sports Center’s guests and employees and deny subsequent entry until the matter is resolved by Sports Center management.
6.24. Cancellation of a subscription and the removal of a subscriber/guest – The Sports Center is entitled to remove a subscriber from the Sports Center premises for a period of up to six (6) months and terminate the membership or the activity of a guest or not renew the said subscription, without refund, should it be shown that the behavior of said person contradicts and violates the by-laws, regulations and procedures, is inappropriate behavior or in the case of a severe disciplinary violation and/or sexual harassment and/or gross, disorderly, violent or inappropriate behavior and/or gross or violent verbal expression and/or behavior liable to endanger the club’s membership, their peace or their property and/or cause them harm and/or disrupt their serenity and/or disturb in any manner whatsoever normal and on-going activity, etc. All at the sole and exclusive discretion of the Sports Center. Should the determination be made that said damage(s) was committed with intent, the subscriber/guest shall be charged the full cost of the repair.
6.25. The Sports Center is entitled to submit disciplinary complaints to the relevant institutions in University against subscribing students and/or subscribing University faculty and staff that shall violate the by-laws and regulations and/or commit inappropriate acts.
6.26. The Sports Center reserves the right for both security and safety reasons to conduct a physical search of a person and/or in said person’s bag and/or the associated equipment of any person entering the Sports Center.
7. Locker rental
7.1. Lockers for rent and use by subscribers to safeguard their valuables are available throughout the Sports Center. The user bears sole responsibility for the use and the storage of the equipment in the lockers. To dispel any doubt, these are not break-in resistant “safes” and the Sports Center bears no responsibility for any theft, damage or loss of stored equipment.
7.2. Seasonal locker rentals – upon conclusion of the subscription period, the subscriber shall evacuate the locker and return the key to the subscription office. If within 72 hours of the termination of said subscription the key to the rented locker is not returned, the Sports Center shall breach the lock of said locker and evacuate the enclosed belongings. Equipment found in the breached locker shall be stored by the Sports Center for a period of no more than one month, and afterwards shall be donated, discarded or destroyed. A seasonal locker is solely for use by its rentee, use of said locker by any person(s) other than the rentee, shall be breached immediately and user shall have no claim whatsoever.
7.3. Daily-use lockers – daily lockers intended for daily/occasional use shall be cleared of all belongings and left open at the conclusion of each day (up to 24:00), any locker not cleared out on the same day shall be breached and evacuated by the Sports Center. Equipment found in the breached daily locker shall be stored by the Sports Center for a period of no more than one month, and afterwards shall be donated, discarded or destroyed.
7.4. The Locker Rental service can be canceled within one month notice, by providing a written request to the Customer Service Department at: service@tausc.co.il.
8. Classes
8.1. The variety of classes that the Sports Center operates and the scope of their activity as well as all matters pertaining to said activity, shall be determined by the Sports Center, including the collection of unique payments for participation in certain classes or certain activities. Advanced notice to the subscribes shall be issued by the Sports Center.
8.2. The activity in the class framework is in accordance with the hours of activity of each class as advertised in the activity brochure distributed to subscribers and as listed on bulletin boards and the center’s website. The Sports Center shall make every effort to preserve the hours of the activity; however changes are possible.
8.3. The advertised activity, classes and event schedule is given to alteration at the discretion of the Sports Center. The Sports Center reserves the right to implement changes in the classes program at its sole discretion and without prior warning.
8.4. Late arrivals to a class shall be refused entry, instructor is entitled to deny the subscriber admission if the late arrival is 5 minutes or more after the start of class.
8.5. Other than water, no food or beverages may be brought into the class. Do not eat or chew gum in the gym.
8.6. The volume and intensity of the music, room temperature and any other decisions during lessons, shall be determined by the instructors.
8.7. Participants shall obey and fulfill the instructions issued by class instructors.
8.8. Do not stay and/or train in the gym without the presence of instructors.
8.9 Any removal of equipment from the classes is strictly forbidden.
8.10. Spinning classes are not included in TAU student and faculty subscriptions; however, a one-time payment may be made in the subscriptions office for their addition to the subscription.
9. Swimming pools
9.1. Any subscriber entering the pool area, shall behave in accordance with the instructions published by the Sports Center and Health Ministry regulations. Strict adherence to disciplinary rules in the pools is a paramount safety imperative.
9.2. The subscriber undertakes to obey all instructions issued by the lifeguards, assistant lifeguards, ushers and Sports Center employees throughout their entire stay at the swimming pools.
9.3. Entry onto the paved poolside and in the water shall only be permitted in swim suits. Entrance in shoes or shorts or other clothing is prohibited.
9.4. Entry to the pool area shall be permitted solely in the presence of a lifeguard in attendance and during regular pool operation hours. The pool’s use its limited to certain hours, as designated periodically by the Sports Center management and at its sole and exclusive discretion.
9.5. Persons with long hair must wear a swim cap.
9.6. The areas surrounding the pools is labeled (by means of a track or signs) as a swimming area, one designated solely for swimming. In this area resting at the pool’s edge is discouraged so as not to interfere the swimmers.
9.7. No food or beverages of any kind whatsoever may be brought poolside. Furthermore, glassware of any kind whatsoever is prohibited from being brought poolside.
9.8. Smoking around the area of the pool is forbidden.
9.9. Splashing water, using water pistols, life preservers, boats and waters in the pool area is prohibited. Swim fins are permitted solely in the intended pool lane.
9.10. In the pools there are water polo practices, swim training and lessons, as well as occasional sports competitions which the Sports Center shall announce to subscribers in advance.
9.11. Swimming lessons may be given solely by Sports Center certified personnel.
9.12. The Sports Center is entitled to close or modify the hours of operation and the manner of use of the swimming pools, permanently or temporarily, including for events of any kind whatsoever and notify subscribers in advance.
9.13. The Sports Center is entitled to close the swimming pools for purposes of renovation or repair upon prior notice.
9.14. The upper level indoor pool is intended solely for swimming. Entry into the water for objectives other than swimming shall not be permitted.
9.15. Swimming in the infants pool without a life guard shall be permitted solely in the presence and under the escort of an adult.
9.16. The use of the pools by a child shall be solely under their parents’ responsibility. The presence of children under the age of 12 at the pool without parental escort and supervision is absolutely forbidden. Children who do not know how to swim shall be prohibited from entering the pool area without parental escort and supervision.
9.17. Running is prohibited in all areas around the pools because of the danger of slipping.
9.18. Individuals with any type of skin disease or other communicable illness are prohibited from entering the area around the pools.
9.19. Jumping into the water, pushing and drowning games are strictly prohibited.
10. Using the jacuzzi (hot tub)
10.1. Use of a jacuzzi (hot tub) is liable to be a danger to one’s health and is done solely under the full responsibility of the users, subject to their physician’s guidelines and those designed to maintain one’s health.
10.2. Entry into the hot tub is prohibited for children under the age of 16 years old.
10.3. Pregnant women, persons suffering from diabetes, heart ailments, skin disease and/or blood pressure issues are prohibited from using the hot tub.
10.4. Prior to entering the jacuzzi, bathers must shower for safety and personal hygiene reasons.
10.5. Fifteen (15) minutes is the maximum time allowed to remain in the jacuzzi.
10.6. The entry into the hot tub shall be permitted only wearing a swim suit. Persons with long hair must wear a swim cap.
11. Using the sauna
11.1. Use of a sauna is liable to be a danger to one’s health and is done solely under the full responsibility of the users, subject to their physician’s guidelines and those designed to maintain one’s health.
11.2. Entry into the sauna is prohibited for children under the age of 16 years old.
11.3. Pregnant women, persons suffering from diabetes, heart ailments, skin disease and/or blood pressure issues are prohibited from using the sauna.
11.4. Prior to entering the sauna, bathers must shower for safety and personal hygiene reasons. The use of the sauna showers is intended for washing the body solely prior to entering the sauna.
11.5. Fifteen (15) minutes is the maximum time allowed to remain in the sauna.
11.6. The entry into the sauna shall be permitted only wearing a swim suit.
11.7. Because of the risk of fire, it is forbidden to dry cloths and/or towels in the sauna. Water may be poured solely on the bricks, do not pour water on the heat element in the sauna.
12. Fitness room
The use of the sports facilities and gymnasium is compliant with the Gymnasium Law (Licensing & Supervision) 5754-1994 and the Sports Law 5748-1994 and their regulations and safety and behavior guidelines found in the gymnasium.
12.1. Medical certification –
12.1.1. As a precondition for training, the fitness room subscriber shall sign a declaration of health pursuant with the provisions of the Gymnasium Law and shall provide medical certification where required in accordance with the Gymnasium Law.
12.1.2. The subscriber is obligated to notify the Sports Center concerning any change in his/her state of health and provide current medical certification to the extent necessary, as a condition for continuing use of the fitness room facilities. In any case of a change in his state of health, the subscriber bears complete and exclusive responsibility to seek medical counsel and is obliged to notify the fitness room at the earliest possible date.
12.2. Every new subscriber must undergo an orientation from the fitness room instructors concerning fitness room regulations, the location of the fitness devices and safety rules pertaining to their use.
12.3. Entry to the fitness room is permitted from the age of 14 years old. Adolescents ages 14-18 must provide parental approval for fitness room training. Adolescents ages 14-18 shall undergo current medical certification once every two years and provide said parental approval on an annual basis.
12.4. Activity outside the fitness room’s hours of operation or without the presence of an instructor is forbidden. Fitness room staff member instructions must be obeyed at all times.
12.5. Fitness room and Sports Center staff instructions in the fitness must be obeyed at all times. The Sports Center staff is entitled to add instructions when and where required and at its sole discretion.
12.6. Any activity conducted in contravention to staff guidelines is forbidden – and the trainee shall bear responsibility for its results.
12.7. The fitness room staff is entitled to remove from the gym any trainee(s) whose behavior is inappropriate and deny his entry until the matter is resolved by Sports Center management.
12.8. The entrance to the fitness room is only in full sports attire (sports clothes, sneakers) and a personal towel. No activity shall be permitted in jeans/work, hiking or other pants/buttoned or zippered shirts, without suitable sneakers, or without a personal towel.
12.9. Purses/bags are not permitted in the fitness room.
12.10. Aggressive or violent behavior towards other subscribers or towards employees shall unacceptable under any circumstances.
12.11. The use of a mobile telephone is prohibited throughout the gymnasium excepted in specifically labeled locations.
12.12. Chewing gum, food and beverages are forbidden in the fitness room.
12.13. Safety rules for using devices:
12.13.1. Do not mount a working device.
12.13.2. Do not leave a working device unattended.
12.13.3. At the end of use, be sure to leave a clean device.
12.13.4. Activity should be stopped if for any reason you feel unwell.
12.13.5. Ensure that handles are fully inserted before using power devices and benches and verify that free weight brackets are locked at all times.
12.13.6. All plates and weights are to be returned to their place at the end of the activity. Do not throw weights on the floor.
12.13.7. When lifting weights, be sure to operate at a safe distance from other trainees.
12.13.8. Removal of any equipment from the fitness room and weight lifting activity from the designated area is strictly forbidden.
12.13.9. When using a treadmill attach the safety strap to your clothing.
12.13.10. Use of the punching bag shall be only with suitable gloves.
12.13.11. For safety reasons, it is forbidden to use equipment that does not belong to the gymnasium.
12.13.12. At the end of use, be sure to leave a clean device.
12.13.13. At the end of use, return all equipment to its place (weights, plates and other associated equipment).
12.13.14. Speak with any member of the instruction staff if there is a question concerning the use of a device or how to conduct a specific exercise.
12.14. Individual or group training shall be provided only by Sports Center trainers. It is absolutely forbidden for any person not employed by the Sports Center to train other subscribers in the fitness room, whether for payment or pro bono. The fitness room staff is entitled to remove from the gym any trainee suspected of providing individual training to others and deny his entry until the matter is resolved by Sports Center management.
12.15 Do not conduct any commercial activity in the fitness room, other than that which has been approved by Sports Center management.
12.16 In the case of chest pains, sudden weakness, dizziness, injury and/or any other health-related situation, cease training immediately and report the incident to the gymnasium staff.
13. Tennis courts
13.1. Starting 1.12.2020 all Tennis courts will be operated by an external operator, under their sole responsibility. All users must oblige the Tennis courts regulation as published by the operator.

13.3.For the avoidance of a doubt, all Tennis Courts activity or use us under the sole responsibility of the Operator and the user. The Sport’s Center will not be responsible for any damage or accidents caused during the use of the Tennis Courts.
14. Parking
14.1. The Sports Center parking lot is a paid parking facility intended solely for the center’s subscribers and others authorized by the Sports Center.
14.2. A subscriber is entitled to purchase a parking permit for his/her vehicle for a fee that shall be set periodically by the Sports Center. The subscriber shall present a photocopy of his current driver’s license when being issued the parking permit.
14.3. The parking permit is personal and shall be attached to the window shield of the subscriber’s car and is non-transferable or for sale to another.
14.4. Upon selling the vehicle, the parking permit is to be removed and transferred to the new vehicle, after which the subscriber shall notify the registration office of the change in the car’s license number and attach a copy of the car’s current license.
14.5. A car bearing a current parking permit is permitted to park in the Sports Center parking lot on the basis of available space and the purchase of said permit does not ensure in any way a parking space.
14.6. Traffic and parking in the parking lots will be done according to the procedures and traffic signs found in the lot, motorcycle parking and bicycle parking is permitted only in the designated places.
14.7. The Sports Center bears no responsibility for any loss and/or theft and/or damage and/or sabotage of any kind whatsoever to vehicles in the parking lot.
14.8. Upon termination or cancellation of the subscription, the parking permit should be returned to the customer service department. Not returning the parking permit will result in a NIS 150 fine. The Sport sender reserves the right to deduct this sum against any refunds owed to the member.
14.9. The Parking Rental service can be canceled within one month notice, by providing a written request to the Customer Service Department at: service@tausc.co.il
15. Force Majeure
15.1. In the event the Sports Center shall close for reasons beyond Sports Center control, such as an epidemic outbreak (such as the Coronavirus), governmental order, administrative order, war or general mobilization due to a large-scale military operation, natural damage, any disruption related to the structure of the event or due to a public reality that does not allow the operation or use of the facility or in any other case not controlled by the Sports Center during which activity cannot be sustained or the use of the sports center facilities (the circumstances set out above will be referred to together as “Force Majeure”) shall qualify the subscriber for a freeze of the subscription period, in accordance with the preventive period, and consequently, shall not be entitled to any compensation or indemnity due to the prevention.
15.2. If one or more of the Sports Center’s activities shall not be possible and/or one or more of its facilities and/or all its facilities and/or activities may be used. Still, only to a limited extent (and without derogating), the fitness room, pools, dressing rooms, sauna, jacuzzi, classes, and the like under the circumstances of force majeure as defined in Section 15.1 above, the Sports Center shall operate as per the possible limitations, and the subscriber shall not be entitled to any compensation or indemnity due to said limitations.
15.3. Under any circumstances of “Force Major” as described above, the regular cancellation terms as set in this regulations document and under applicable law shall apply.
16. Communications and Media
16.1. The Sports Center makes every effort to ensure the proper working order of its website. Nevertheless, the Sports Center cannot guarantee the site’s uninterrupted service, without disruption, breakdowns or glitches. Furthermore, the Sports Center is entitled to cease the use of the website from time to time for purposes of maintenance and organization.
16.2. All intellectual property rights and copyrights concerning all content appearing on the website, as well as their editing and presentation thereof, are owned exclusively by the Sports Center. The content of the site may not be reproduced, distributed, published or otherwise used in any way unless the Sports Center has given its prior written consent.
16.3. The Sports Center shall not bear any responsibility for any illicit or illegal activity conducted by website visitors during their visit to the site or for any other entity not under its full control.
16.4. The Sports Center bears no responsibility for content published in links existing on the website, advertisement content, “banners” or any other advertising material on the website. The advertisers alone bear all responsibility. The existence of “links” connecting to other websites does not guarantee the content of these sites in terms of their reliability, completeness or otherwise.
16.5. The interpretation and enforcement of these by-laws and/or any resulting action or dispute shall be in accordance with Israeli law. Exclusive jurisdiction is given to the competent courts in Tel Aviv alone.
16.6. These regulations may be found on the Sports Center’s website and every subscriber is authorized to view it. The Sports Center reserves the right to change, detract from and/or add to the regulations and rules of use of the website at any time at its sole discretion. The wording of the regulations as published on the website is the definitive and binding version at all times.
